Virginia | She Gave Up Everything She Had



Robin loved her job as Admissions/Marketing Director of a Veterans Nursing Home for the State of Virginia, but she felt called to open a school and summer camp for children with Autism. As her son has autism and she saw first hand how the children are so misunderstood, she gave up everything she had worked for to try to help others.  Her summer camp went from 8 children the first year to almost 300 this year, her fourth camp. She has given up so much, not only monetarily, but her security for her own future to try to help others, it is hard not to see her as an unsung hero.
