My husband is my hero.
He’s the eighth of eleven children, and his mom didn’t work out of the home, so he grew up poor.
In February of 2008, his father had a stroke. Six months later, I had a stroke, and he had to care for our two young children alone, while dealing with getting my disability payments lined up, and dealing with the heartache of having his wife in the hospital near death.
Throughout my rehabilitation and other of his life struggles, he keeps so positive.
It’s amazing to me how gracefully he handles stressors.
Not only did he have to deal with the struggles of almost losing his father and his wife in the same year, but also had to be the sole parent, and help with my rehabilitation.
He’s done all of this with positivity.
