Grayson was born 3 months premature and weighed 2 pounds. This along with complications at birth resulted in her having Cerebral Palsy. Doctors gave her a prognosis of being a vegetable for life. Fast forward 14 years and Grayson is going into the 9th grade and has a huge desire to walk. Her motto has always been, “You Gotta Have Faith.” Despite her many surgeries and the physical obstacles she faces daily, each day is started with a huge smile. She has donated her hair to Locks of Love twice stating that others need the hair more than she. Her smile, drive to walk and never-give-up attitude inspires me and others daily. Being a single mom, she continually encourages me that “Life IS Good” and to not take the little things for granted. She will always be my hero.
