Life Is Good® Appoints Lisa Tanzer As President

BOSTON, July 13, 2016 — Life is Good®, a $100 million lifestyle brand dedicated to spreading the power of optimism, announced today it has named consumer marketing veteran and business executive Lisa Tanzer as President.  The move follows a nationwide executive search, which culminated in the selection of Tanzer.  As President, Tanzer will lead day-to-day business operations with a focus on driving continued growth for the brand and its social mission. She was previously Head of Marketing at Life is Good and has also served on the Board of Directors of the Life is Good Kids Foundation for over 20 years.

Lisa Tanzer brings more than two decades of experience to the role with a distinguished track record of success leading consumer brands and driving business in the education, entertainment, and consumer products industries. Prior to Life is Good, Tanzer held marketing and strategy positions at Hasbro, Staples, PricewaterhouseCoopers and The Gillette Company.  Additionally, she held executive positions at start-ups and mid-sized companies, such as SmarterKids.com, Cookie Jar Entertainment, and The Princeton Review. Tanzer received her BA from Tufts University and an MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business.

Under her guidance in 2015, the company’s nationwide Life is Good tour donated over $1 million dollars for kids in need. With a passion for social good combined with her marketing and general management experience, Tanzer brings together the best of both worlds in her new role as President of Life is Good.
