MERLIN TREFETHEN IS NOT LOST

Merlin knew that the message it carried meant more than the physical tee, and that he would always carry the meaning with him. In fact, it was the inspiration that changed his life.

After coming to the conclusion that his “Not all who wander are lost” Life is Good t-shirt (above) wouldn’t make it through another wash cycle, Merlin Trefethen decided to send it back to where it came from and to share its journey with us. He knew that the message it carried meant more than the physical tee, and that he would always carry the meaning with him. In fact, it was the inspiration that changed his life.

“Not all who wander are lost” is a simple message, one of optimism and creativity. For Merlin it meant a whole lot more. Below is Merlin’s letter describing his journey, and how the message from his Life is Good t-shirt inspired him to make some major changes in life. He writes, “I quit my job, left my family and friends in Connecticut, to start a new life in Colorado — with only one goal; to seek happiness out wherever it may lead.”

Merlin will continue his journey alongside his wife Meryl, and their daughter Amelie. The family is expecting their second child in January.
